    Attorney General Palmer forecast a massive radical uprising on May Day 1920. A prolonged World War I prevents adequate suppression of the uprising, culminating in a national strike unprecedented in american history. The protesters refused to aid the military-industrial complex, hoping the strike would make peace quickly in the European war. The federal government released mandates to state patrols to quell the rebellion, leading to the Second American Revolution.
    The Central Powers, including a recovering post-revolution Mexico, provided aid and munitions to the rebellion. In honor of Germany's support the rebellion drafted a new american flag using the black-white-red color scheme of the Reich. After ceding lands to Mexico and Germany, the People's Republic of America was recognized internationally on August 25th, 1920.
